There Goes The Neighborhood

This piece of work started life as a rough sketch for an editorial client that ended up going in a different (should I say worse? No, let’s stick with different) direction. It was about fancy new restaurants moving into your neighbourhood and suddenly changing the vibe of the place. I couldn’t get the idea out of my head. So I drew it, and then once I’d drawn it I thought it might look cool moving, so I took it into After Effects and gave it a bit of life there.
